Due to demand we have a new date for our next face painting workshop
Sunday 16th June 2013
10.15am - 3.45pm
Belvoir Activity Centre, Belfast

Face painting is a very rewarding artform whether you choose to have it as a hobby or invest in it as a business. I started face painting ten years ago with little / no guidance except for a book...I call it learning the hard way! It wasn't until I met 'real' face painters through FACE a number of years later that I was able to improve on my skills and learn some of the basics and tricks I wish I had known from the start.
This workshop will cover all the basics including health & safety and the key skills to give you a good grounding to enter the industry and the knowledge to perfect your skills through practice and experimentation.
Download the flyer for more information and give me a call to book your place!

"I couldn't recommend this workshop highly enough!!! It was an absolutely fantastic day packed with very important information and advice which has helped to give me a firm grasp of health & safety, a good solid foundation by improving basic vital skills needed in every face design and also it has helped me grow more in confidence and to believe I can be a much better painter giving my clients the best that I can" Joanne Wilson
Look forward to sharing my skills and knowledge with you!

At this time of year I love setting aside some time to work on new images. Shoots like this don't just happen, there's a lot of behind the scenes organising and everyone works so hard on the day to create what you see.

I feel this blog post can pretty much talk for itself so less of me and more breathtaking images.
Most importantly please take a few moments to meet the creative team that made this possible and enjoy our vision of romance meets 1920s elegance.

Yes, this is my new, very exciting title having competed at the Professional Beauty Show in Dublin on Monday! To say I am delighted is a major understatement - I am ecstatic!
I have worked very hard for this...
I chose to enter the Catwalk and Fashion makeup category where the theme was ‘Tokyo Bright Despair’. I designed storyboards, which I have attached, pulling together my inspiration and created a look that was my take on a Japanese Geisha and samurai warrior. We were told in the brief to think cute and ugly, pretty and grotesque so my interpretation had lots of colour based on Tokyo city lights at night but with a darker edge.
Here is my winning look on the amazing model Piya

I would like to thank the judges for seeing my potential and presenting me with the coveted title! A massive thank you also to the sponsors for all my fantastic prizes: Kett Cosmetics, Face FX, Stargazer, Nima Brush and Karaja!
Judge, Nichola Graham (pictured above) sent this really lovely message to me following the competition "Your win is so well deserved! Your interpretation and execution of the theme blew the judges away! The world is your oyster for sure."
What an amazing experience!!!...
Now to set some even more challenging and exciting goals!

Baby bump painting is a new craze for mums to be in Northern Ireland!
Inspired by face painters across the world I am the first person to introduce the art of bump painting in Northern Ireland! This is a unique and special experience to capture such a precious time and to be able to share with your child in years to come. It is best to paint bumps after you have reached 34 weeks. Each bump is designed specifically for you incorporating all those little aspects that make your pregnancy special.
